PopRock Academy is proud to present a special Jazz Piano program at our school. Students will study with a Jazz piano instructor on the fundamentals and theories of Jazz.

Generally students should have some fundamental piano skills prior to specializing in Jazz. Our beginning piano lessons are designed to teach students fundamental reading skills in both notations as well as chart reading. As students progress, they can start to focus their lessons on Classical, Jazz or Contemporary/Pop music, or a combination of the different genres.

Students in our Jazz Piano program will learn more advance improvisation techniques as well as Jazz chord voice leading and more. Students will study standard Jazz repertoire and be able to learn from an experienced Jazz pianist.

Our Jazz piano instructors are also experienced in other genres of music, so students can still explore outside of Jazz if they choose to do so in their lessons.
