General Information
Contemporary is among the most popular and also most technically difficult dance styles. Students can fully express themselves in this style of dance. Our student will work with our instructors to learn various routines as well as develop their individual style and language in our state of the art dance studio.
Requirements
Our contemporary dance class requires all students to also be concurrently enrolled in Ballet. Students must posses strong classical dance techniques in order to excel in this dance form. Students with extensive ballet experience may request a waiver of this requirement. But student must still fulfill our 2 classical dance classes enrollment fulfillment at PopRock Academy.
Masterclass
Our school offers two masterclasses per year to our dance students where they can showcase what they learned to other students and receive constructive feedback from our master instructors.
Dance Recitals
Our dance students have the opportunity to participate in our two annual recitals in June and in December. Students will get to invite their family and their friends to view their performances in this professionally staged event.
