General Information

Our mini-Glee Workshop (formerly Disney Theatre) is designed for young students ages 5 to 7. Students learn acting, singing and dancing, and gain the confidence they need to overcome their nervousness.The class uses theatre games such as those created by world renowned Viola Spolin and other theatre educators. The program will use material from the Disney catalogue and other well-known material to help young students connect and grow.

Requirements

Students meet once a week and learn in a fun and interactive manner. Students should come wearing clothes that they are comfortable moving around.

Masterclass and Performances

Students will participate in our two masterclasses each year to perform for other students as well as watch other student performances to grow. Students will also participate in our two annual large recitals on professional stages where they can invite friends and family to attend.

This is a fantastic and unique class that is only offered here at PopRock Academy Alhambra in the San Gabriel Valley and Pasadena area.

Our Exploratory Program is designed for beginning students. Students with prior experience should enroll in our conservatory programs.
