How Does the New Calendar Work?

In case if if you haven't gotten the new calendar, we have moved away from the calendar month to a 12 terms system. Each term will have 4 of each day of classes or lessons. We will not have regular classes on any of the other days of the year. All payments will shift up to the 18th of each month instead of the 28th over the course of the year to accommodate the end of the year holiday season. Withdrawal date as usual is still on the 15th of each month.

LAST DAY TO WITHDRAW: 15th of each month

LAST DAY TO CHANGE SESSION: 15th of each month

PAYMENT DAY: 18th of each month (Old students are 28th until April 2015)

Free Friend Week
Does your friend ever wonder what you are doing at PopRock Academy? All current students are welcomed to bring a friend and check out any of our classes during this week for free. RSVP required as space is limited. (Not available for private lessons or specialty workshops.)

Entertainment Q&A Saturday, January 24, 2015 @ 4pm to 5:30pm
Learn about what it takes to work in the entertainment industry with industry veteran Paul Kwo. The event will include a Q&A portion where you can ask him questions about how things really work in Hollywood. We especially encourage all our acting students who are interested in pursuing acting as a profession to attend.

We had an amazing series of recitals and performances in December 2014 with over 60 students participating in our 3 separate recitals. We are looking forward to even more performances and recitals this year. If you have a friend who might like to take lessons or classes, if you refer them to the Academy and they take 1 month of lessons or classes, we’ll give you ONE lesson of the same length or class for free! To keep up with inflation and the cost of living increase, we have a new pricing structure for NEW LESSONS OR CLASSES ONLY for 2015. All current students will enjoy your 2014 rates until July 1, 2015.
Private Voice, Instrumental and Dance Lessons:
     30 mins $140 for 4 lessons per term, 45 mins: $210 for 4 lessons per term, 60 min: $280 for 4 lessons per term
Lessons with Paul Kwo: $360 for 4 one-hour lessons per term
Acting Coaching: $22.50 per 15 minutes
On-going Group Classes (Except Adult Dance Students and Specialty Workshops)

Second Sunday @ PopRock

Join us every Second Sunday for some wonderful music in the city of Alhambra. Every odd numbered months, we feature our wonderful faculty members performing a wide range of music. Every even numbered months, we feature some of our best and brightest students to perform their best works.

The concert is unlike your typical concert. It's hosted with lots of audience engagement. It's a fun-filled hour of wonderful music and audience exchange. You decide the order of performance. You tell us how you want your music. It'll also be live streamed online so you can engage us online from anywhere else in the world.

Performances are at PopRock Academy in Alhambra. Every Second Sundays at 4pm. There will be months where we will have exceptions to this.
